I think I must ask for clarification on the latter end of the statement though; are you indicating that the film itself cost less than $300 million, or that this design in practical application in the film would cost that amount?
im quite inpired by it
i also making an alien creature that is less human-like but very unique(excuse my spelling)
pease draw more concepts
id love to see a redesigned Thanator and Na'vi hometree
any advice?
after viewing your gallery, I have found that you (like many others) tend to draw typical things found in pop culture, such as dragons, knights, and something that looks suspiciously like the bounty hunter from the star wars films... I say, it would be best to veer away from things such as that, find something in the world that inspires you to imagine and to draw things entirley unlike the things that have already been drawn by other people... I often find that the most mundane of things can inspire fantastic ideas. for instance, take a look at my artist's comments for this piece;[link] , there I rambled on about an idea for a creature inspired by a sketchbook. really though, if you draw things that are at least slightly removed from what is typical, your designs will be far more interesting.
also, work some more on value studies and shadows, as your work seems rather flat now...
Please though, keep drawing! the voyage to decency is a long and difficult one, and I have still not even come close to reaching the destination myself... we shall improve.
