The skull of a Leopard Seal; the pride of he who was not him.
Mostly, the air of Sky was thick with throngs of things that did fly,
and thus the earth was littered with those that did die.
that is, of course, apart from the man who was not a man, as he would often walk across the land, collecting the best pickings from the corpses of the earth,
Rending flesh, sepperating bones, and procuring skulls, he finally found the head he had been avidly searching for since his birth;
That of his mother, the majestic Seal, who spent her life soaring through the air, for she could not swim".
I initially sketched the seal skull at the Boston Museum of Science, and filled in the rest of the illustration afterward. that was nearly a year ago now...
